Charlie Fewell to deliver keynote at ASA convention

Bedord, Texas (march 13) — The Automotive Service Association announced that Charlie Fewell will be the keynote speaker for the 2008 ASA Annual Convention. Fewell, of Charlie Fewell & Associates, has a 30-year career in the automotive aftermarket as a technical trainer, customer service manager, training manager and business management trainer.

ASA’s 2008 Annual Convention will be held May 1-3 at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, Calif. Fewell’s presentation, “Five Stepping Stones to Success,” will be May 2 during the luncheon. He will reveal how the most productive people in life use the stepping stones of success to help them reach the goals they were meant to achieve.

Fewell was associated with General Motors Corp. for 24 years, is an Automotive Management Institute instructor, has written many articles for the automotive industry and received awards for his contributions to the industry.

Other highlights of the convention include ASA’s Celebration of Excellence, dedicated to honoring the achievements of ASA members. The program will include an Automotive Management Institute graduation ceremony for those who have earned AMI’s Accredited Automotive Manager designation.
