Diagnostic software consolidates tests
Injectronic's ScanMaster is a PC-based, OBD II application designed to add more functionality, improved data retrieval and manipulation in use with the CJ4 scantool. ScanMaster has configurations to give users a personalized interface look, select most-needed parameters and more, including the ability to consolidate all test results for storage and printing. DTC search and fuel consumption are also accessible through easily navigated, clearly marked tabs. Users can choose from English, Spanish and German language, as well as English or metric units of measure.

One-man trailer wiring testing
Electronic Specialties' No. 220 Trailer Buddy was designed for time-saving, one-man trailer wiring testing. While users apply the turn signals, brakes, running lights and reverse, the tester emits a unique tone for each signal from the vehicle. In addition to verifying proper wiring, Trailer Buddy indicates when two wires are shorted together. Model 220 tests both four- and five-pin flat wiring connections, and is powered by the vehicle connection.
