AccuProbe Leak Detector
The heated sensor tip of the Yellow Jacket AccuProbe Leak Detector positively identifies the leak source for all refrigerants. Frequency of flashes in the tip and audible beeping increases the closer you get to the leak source. With minimal cleaning and no adjustments, the replaceable heated electro-chemical sensor includes a service life of more than 300 hours.

AirLift tool 550000

Ford uses UView’s AirLift’s vacuum test function to perform EGR cooler leak tests and an oil cooler leak tests on the F-Super Duty, Excursion and E-Series engines to help identify problems. The AirLift tool, No. 550000, can be used on more than just a vehicle’s cooling systems. It is an effective and fast tool for eliminating airlocks and refilling cooling systems, including the heater core, and reduces the time it takes to do a cooling system service.

D440A heated sensor refrigerant leak detector

Techno Tools model D440A heated sensor refrigerant leak detector was certified by a qualified independent laboratory to comply with SAE Standard J2791. The new SAE Standard was created in response to a need to reduce refrigerant HFC-134a emissions and to establish minimum performance criteria for an improved class of electronic hand held probe-type refrigerant leak detectors capable of finding very small to moderate leaks.

Informant 2 dual purpose leak detector
The Informant 2 leak detector from Bacarach Automotive allows pinpoint detection of both refigerant and combustible gas leaks with the same instrument. The Informant 2 leak detector features an audible indicator with a mute option, coupled with sequential LEDs to monitor increasing concentrations of refrigerant or combustible gases. Dual bar graph displays offer visual confirmation no matter what position the instrument is in. A flashing light at the tip of the probe helps to visually define a users sampling location.

LeakTamer Plus EVAP Smoke Machine (No. 6521)
The LeakTamer Plus EVAP Smoke Machine (No. 6521) by OTC, a business unit of SPX Corp., was specifically built for testing and repairing OBD-II EVAP system leaks while operating in accordance with major automaker specifications and needs. The OTC 6521's non-toxic vapor with its patented UltraTraceUV dye technology enables the machine to automatically confirm the existence of excessive leakage. Other features include:

• Works with either nitrogen or shop air.
• Electronic safety valve automatically shuts off airflow to the EVAP system every time the tester shuts off.
