TECH400 takes on tough TPMS applicaions
Bartec USA's TECH400 tire pressure monitoring system diagnostic tool features a rugged design, compact size, easy-to-use menu system and an easy-to-read display. An activation tool and scan tool all in one, TECH400 activates and decodes the sensors currently in use today, and then transmits this data directly to vehicles via the OBD II connection. TECH400 is designed for the more challenging TPMS vehicles that require a scan tool in order to complete new sensor registration or tire rotation.

TPMS kit from OTC
OTC offers its No. 3833 Tire Pressure Monitor Kit, which is universally compatible with all vehicles utilizing a direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The kit comes complete with monitor, magnet, manual and carrying case. The updateable monitor software features a system that OTC feels can provide easy and accurate access in properly interfacing with the vehicle. The tool's manual also contains reset procedures and system information, including torque specifications and wiring diagrams.

Hybrid control coverage for 2001 and up Prius
Snap-on Diagnostics' software bundle 7.4 includes hybrid control coverage for the Toyota Prius, beginning with the 2001 model year. Codes, data and actuator tests are supported in bundle 7.4, including functional tests for battery cooling fans, hybrid vehicle cranking request for compression testing, inspection mode 1 test for checking HV electronic control units with the engine running in park, inspection mode 2 test for disabling the traction control, and forcible stop of inverter drive for determining if an internal leak exists in either the inverter or the HV ECU.
